Krobar Kenny found the best bar in Newport this morning.

"This swell is in the refrigerator, the door's closed, the light's out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard and the Jello's jiggling."

Not enough to get me out there, but there were a couple that were out making it look kinda fun.

Passing the torch in Newport

Richie Collins with daughter Meah, surfing yesterday afternoon at one of Newports' finer left wintertime breaks.  I've seen Meah progress quite well over the past couple years, surfing in some pretty solid overhead conditions.
