Ten Frames

Pulled the trigger on the new (to me) GoPro HD2 yesterday and took her out this morning at Ho'okipa. Swam for 2.5 hours and managed a couple gems.  This spot is tough to shoot as the waves were shifty and didn't always break in the same zone.

I'd say I'm pretty impressed with the picture quality and the new upgrade to shooting 10fps at the click of a button, as opposed to the older model GoPro shot only 3 frames with about a 3 second lag from when you pull the trigger.

I think with a surf spot with a wave that breaks more consistent in the same zone (HBay) I'm going to get this thing dialed in good.

I'm interested to see if I can rig the remote shutter release somehow instead of having to hit the button.  I'm told that there may be connection issues when shooting in water but there's got to be a way to make it happen.  I would really love to bring the pole cam out of retirement.

Aloha \,
Jason
