Maui Builds

Few early morning shots on the building swell.  Long period and sets were long waits, but when they came, they came with some juice.

I surfed for a couple hours and then had to get back home for a meeting.  Heard some reports tonight that it is "ginormous" this afternoon.  From what the buoys are showing, I believe it.  Maui's near shore buoy is 9.2 feet at 18 seconds right now.

Tomorrow should be "game on" at Peahi (Jaws).  I'm heading up there early as the swell should be fading through the day tomorrow.
