Going Left

Happened upon one of Maui's longest left handers this morning with surf.  After running through the normal spots checked on a south, off in the distance I could see a pack and I went to see if the swell was getting in...and it was with some head high sets.

Conditions were still glassy when I paddled out and mid session there was a set that had about 12 waves that were all overhead.  I was able to pick off one from the top off the reef, and another 1/2 way back on the paddle out when someone fell.

By far, this wave was the longest I've ridden here to date, longer than the Bay (not by much).
