(Had to add in another photo from yesterday that gave the size alittle more justice)
Took the new rig over to the west side today for some hull sliding.
Surf looked small early, then the sets started rolling in. The swell peaked mid morning and there were some solid 4' sets swinging through the cave.
Yeah, it was crowded..but it was Sunday and what else to expect from a late season pulse.
If you were patient, and alittle lucky, you could pick off a couple cave critters..
The new Timpone hull shined in these conditions, pigdog cheater 5's through barrels and around sections were the ticket today.
The new Isuzu rig...I can't say how stoked I am. It's been a while since I've had a car with cruise control and can't say what a treat it is. The long open stretches cross island, it came in handy. That with all the other features and room...couldn't be happier.
What a great day..
Aloha, j
