Turning Back

Up early with nothing to do so I rolled down the hill for an surf check.  Wasn't hoping for much and it didn't look too promising at the beach so I pushed east for alittle re-con.

Went well past Haiku heading towards Hana and didn't prepare gas wise so I figured I better turn around.

Snapped a couple picks on the way back looking west towards Kahului.

West End

Not much surf yesterday so we took a drive late afternoon.  Stopped off in Lahaina for a couple hours then managed to luck into the sunset just short of Honolua Bay.

Reflection

Long day today...  Started off with a surf session on the southside, then dead battery on the northside after the afternoon surf.

Just gotta ask for alittle help and plenty offered a hand with a jump.  Even a beer or two were given in celebration of the car start.

On the way home I passed on help to a recent crippled neighbor from the store that made the trek on crutches.

In reflection, there was Aloha given and received...a good day.

Morning Frames

Southern pulses this morning with some spots showing more than others.  I opted for the shoots instead of surf as Big Beach looked clean early.
