Newport Shines

Hit a couple spots today, the upper streets then down to Wedge. I didn't shoot much at Wedge as conditions were pretty clean with good shape, so I strapped on the fins and handplane for a few backsliders of my own.    A couple pro pics taken by a buddy of mine with me bodysurfing might be up in a couple days, I'll share when I get'm

Sights and sounds of SanO on a Sunday

SanO Sunday

Rolled down to SanO hoping for a day of sun and surf.  South wind early and saw alot of cars leaving as we pulled up at 8am...not a good sign.

Overcast and alittle sloppy so we had breakfast, and put surfing on the back burner.  Took an hour nap, woke up to sunny skies, wind turned more direct onshore and lighter, and tide was filling.  

Took the pig out for some slides for a couple hours.  Connected the dots on 2 that made it well worth the paddle out.

Gonna get back to making SanO Sundays a priority.
