Partytime

Dark:30 looked mediocre, then things started to fill in around 6:30. Sets pushing shoulder/head high and got pretty fun. Lot was full by 7am and the party was in full swing.

West Side Story

Find the monkey and get a treat.

We're moving offices from the airport area to the West Side of C.M. this weekend (downsizing). Took the 1st load over this evening and stopped by to see Dan at the shop. A generous host, he gave me the full tour, as it'd been almost 2yrs since I've been in there. Last time was to place an order for the board/van swap.
They've expanded quite abit, and have lots more room than before. Met a few around the shop, and fondled a few new and old boards to my liking..
Even overheard an unsolicited mention of "Daily Bread" while I was poking around amongst the racks, small world who was name dropping.

Thanks to Dan (DanO Surfboards) and Jim (Pure Glass) for giving me the tour. Stop by and order a new ride and have it shaped and glassed under the same roof.

Regardless of what's going on in the economy, it's wise to keep your money in the local community. The money you spend here, (mostly) stays here. Invest in your local businesses as without them, you may have to go farther for the goods and services crucial to your daily lives.

My nanny (grandma) used to tell me as a kid..."You get what you pay for"...you buy cheap, you get cheap.

If you don't know where to find your local shaper and glasser, then go to your local surf shop. They can point you in the right direction. Go to the source. If they tell you to drive to Santa Barbara and go talk to Al, go find a different shop.

Timing

Twin keel fan

Tiptime

Erin overload, the seals have taken notice

Getting used to the timing alittle better on the new camera. It doesn't really take quick shot sequences, so these shots are single fires.

I've edited another post or 2's worth of shots from this morning, so check back in a bit for round 2, and discover why Eric has the new name "The Enforcer".

Skatepark on a Sunday

Volcom

To the end out of the wind

Surfed Slingshot before the crowd then shot the S pulse for abit. Overcast all morning so not too much light to work with. Better than a poke in the eye.

New Twins

Box of vintage shipped from pops arrived. Old Kodaks, one in decent condition and the other in tip top shape.

New header shot ttl. Still working out the settings, should yield some good shots.

Pierside

Word around the lot was that the 1st light creatures caught the best of it this morning. I'd already finished my toilet bowl sliding and went down for a look see at the pier. Interesting surfcraft floating around today.
