Pulled up to the campsite right at sundown. San Elijo site 162 recommended, right on the bluff.

Campsite 162 not recommended if you like camping loud, camp host right across the street.

Fire started, beers were flowing, and boards were in every conversation.

20w-50 fondling a very nice bonzer 5 big wave sled.

I really liked this pic of Mo_Fo, off by himself, checking the Griffin quad.

Most couldn't sit still when talking about old surf travels.

Then the ruffians showed up later on, DK letting us know he's #1 (in his own mind).

BC takes possesion of his new Ambrose sputnik with custom artwork.

The beach filled up quick and early, little did everyone know, that five-0 was trying to regulate 1 person per board on the beach. Apparently some were slapping "For Sale" stickers on some of the boards, and that's a big no-no.

Plank swapping was goin on.

And some interesting hull/fish/quad/mind warp was going on as well. Saw a few guys surfing these creations very well.

Our Blognation leader, JP with wife and Jr. in tow.

This photo says alot... just about everyone out trying different and new boards had grins ear to ear.

This cat was putting just about everything he rode through the ringer.

Here's a failed attempt at a backdoor barrel on a finless plank of wood.

After a couple of sessions, JJR fired up the BBQ and started sling'n the pork.

The capper was a group photo of all the attended. Some were alittle camera shy.

Looks like a ton of fun for all who love boards. Way to go to the socal unit.

Who are all the cholos in shot seven?!
those "cholos" that you refer to are all the LA/OC/SD chapter of erBB keyboard commandos.
they will cut you down with some serious name calling.

It's always good seeing you man.
We should grab a surf next time you are in the South Ventura area.
Take care,
Kerry (Mo_Fo)
Where is the pic of the police line up at the campsite? Heard you were snapping shots hidding in the bushes.
